Qualifications

Background

I have 20 year experience of training dogs. I have owned dogs all my life, although as a child I am sure the dogs owned me and considered me as a ‘puppy’!

My background is also in working with people and I have 15 years experience of training people in different contexts. I now use those skills to help train dog owners to help and train their dogs. I still continue to train people outside of Evanescence Canine.

I have a passion in working with people (both children and adults) as well as with dogs. In particular I delight in working with individuals 1-2-1, couples and families and finding ways of helping them to learn. Being dyslexic myself I have empathy and understanding for people who struggle to learn a new skill.
